What is adware? Take Your Control on your device

We are using social media for connecting people, but you also know in social media platforms we are products, and they show ads to our devices then earn high amount of money. The basic faction of Adware also is this, but they are not giving any content to us and they make profit when we use our phone or open an app. Basically Adware only give benefit to its developer.

     Generally most of people are experienced Adware in their Phone while installing third party apps outside Play Store. Adware will show large amount of arts without offering any services, it leads to reduce device performance and battery life, compromise your computer and mobile devices to Spyware and showing unwanted ads including dangerous apps.

Prevention of Adware

1. Don't install apps or software from unauthorised stores

2. Turn on unknown source in android and turn strict security on your antivirus software

3. Check logos and permission to an APK file don't install an app when that don't show app logo

4. Don't give administrative permission to softwares for small tasks

Remove Adware

Android

Goto : Settings > Applications > Installed Applications List (These will change based on mobile to mobile)

a.  Find apps without logo 

b. App only showing android icon but we can uninstall that

c.  Don't allow administrative permission to any app

These practices will help you to remove Adware from Android phone

Windows 

Finding Adware is more difficult in windows some ways to remove them are following.

1. Take careful scan on anti-virus 

2. Reset your browsers

3. Make regular scan on your device with trusted anti-virus software (We recommend to use windows defender)

Adware are only use for make profit of its developer so report it when a website or an advertisement to install an Adware. It's also a cybercrime and it losing time and money of owner of infected devices.
