Don't Get Hooked: Unmasking Online Job Scammers

I think a major transition in our life is starting from completing their studies as a student and starts searching for a job as a job seeker, 100% I sure that you got at least one spam call or mail after start searching for a job. So many people are phase these types of scammers and some others lost their money or their productive years.

In this blog we are helping you to find how you can find scammers in job market and how to prevent Scammers.

Before starting we must be aware about these points

  1.  Any trusted organization will not ask money for posting
  2. Search online about your job post and consult people work in same organization
  3. If you think it's a scam, try to report it on 1930 or that company website
  4. Don't allow to hold personal documents like identity number certificate before starting your job

We can find scammers in so many ways

1. Find Genuity of a call

If you get a job, call from a company the HR need to explain what your job is and answer your questions. Aware while they speak to you, catch grammar errors and quality of answering your call

2. Find Genuity of an email

I think it is most complex to find out, in my experience I got a mail from a scammer just like that from a reputed bank

When I check that mail, I got the mail from manager@example.com then they ask me for payment and shows in that mail I can join that bank in after 1 week and shows a good salary, but I need to pay that money. Instantly the HR is call me to pay that money within 1hr otherwise I can't join that bank.

So, they asked me to pay that money that is first sign that is a scam, and they make a hurry to pay money that is second sign. But I think as a real person is that real, I make a big mistake to my career, so I try to investigate.

Firstly, I check that Domin of the scammer manager@example.com after I check domain in that mail

We use example.com as subdomain just because of blogging purpose.

  • When I type that Domin in the browser there is no website available for seeing their career page

  • After I search in google for that Domin and mail for that there is not a search result
  • I got to who.is website to analyze that domain details real domain from that banker and all of their real domains is taken before 2010 and correctly show's their headquarters address. Then start to analyze scammers address but that taken just 1 month ago for a scam and there is no headquarters address
  •  At last step I share the banker mail to verify that, and they also confirmed that is a scam

And I successfully escaped, report that scam and blocked both mail and mobile number

The above story will be happened or waiting for you so we aware on such fraud people or scammers. If just 1000 may be not a problem to you but it helps to grow scammers, so we need to share your experience to people to not get scammed.

Job is essential but also, we aware about such scammers to prevent them.
